Privacy Statement
Last updated July 2026
TheAiNews.App is designed to work without collecting personal profile data. There are no accounts, and you can use the whole app without giving us your email address.
Data Kept On Your Device
The app stores your preferences — enabled sources, theme choices, saved articles — on your device. It also records when you first installed the app and how many times you have opened a story, because the free trial lasts 14 days or 25 uses, whichever comes later. That trial information is stored in the device keychain, which means it survives deleting and reinstalling the app; this is deliberate, so the free trial cannot simply be restarted.
Your Email Address
We only ask for your email address if you choose to request a code to extend your free trial. If you do, we store that address so we can send you the code, and so we can recognise a repeat request. It is stored alongside an anonymous identifier for your app installation. We do not use your address for marketing, and we do not share or sell it. If you never request a code, we never have your email address.
Data Usage
This information is used only to operate the app experience and to issue trial-extension codes. There are no accounts to create.
News Sources
The app fetches news feeds from third-party publishers. Opening a story may take you to that publisher's website, where their own privacy practices apply.
Purchases
If you subscribe, payment and subscription status are handled through Apple's in-app purchase system.
